The Journey Of Neston Samba Pirates (so far!)

Neston Samba Pirates began their vibrant adventure in 2019, originally founded as the Woodfall School Community Band. It was during that same year that the band made its debut, engaging spectators at the Neston Lantern Parade and setting the stage for what was to come.

Over the years, the Samba Pirates grew into an integral part of the local community, bringing rhythm, joy, and energy to a variety of charity and community events. From uplifting performances at Maggie's Fest in Wirral, to being proudly featured during the Jubilee Celebrations, the band showcased their dedication to using music to unite and inspire.

2024 marked an exciting chapter for the Samba Pirates. With membership increasing and young musicians choosing to stay with the group long after graduating from primary school, the band moved to a brand-new venue—Neston Town Hall. Along with this move, they adopted a new, dynamic identity as the Neston Samba Pirates, symbolising their evolution and continued impact.
